Peruvian Congress ordered to suspend the import of GMOs
Under this new motion, any genetically modified seeds, livestock or fish are not allowed to enter Peru, except for the closed laboratory research purposes. Peru is the world's leading exporter of organic food. This motion is expected to be the President of Peru, Wu Mala signed into law. Wu Mala stated its opposition to the past President of GMO program.
